How to Get Here

BY CAR

From the A19 Palermo–Catania motorway, exit at Caltanissetta, continue on the SS626 towards Gela and follow the signs for Butera. The estate is approximately 35 km from the motorway exit, with a journey time of around 35–40 minutes.

Main distances:

  • Catania: approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes
  • Palermo: approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes
  • Catania (Fontanarossa) Airport: approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes
  • Comiso Airport: approximately 45 minutes

By train

The nearest railway station to the estate is Gela, served by Trenitalia with connections from Caltanissetta and the main Sicilian cities. From Gela, the estate can be reached by car or taxi in approximately 20 minutes (around 20 km).

Alternatively, you can arrive at Caltanissetta Centrale station, with a direct connection from Palermo and Catania, and continue by car or taxi to Butera (approximately 35 km, 35–40 min).
We recommend booking a rental car or taxi in advance from your chosen station.

By bus

From Catania Fontanarossa, the Etna Trasporti service connects directly to Butera (Piazza Sicilia) with approximately 5 weekly departures (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri), with a journey time of approximately 2h 30min.
For those travelling from other Sicilian cities, it is possible to reach Caltanissetta or Gela with SAIS Autolinee services and continue by local taxi to Butera.

We always recommend checking updated timetables on the carrier’s website before departure, as schedules may vary on public holidays.
